Just want

Well Rob no one takes me seriously, joking too much I guess, and image wise I am very often out there exploring enjoying the wonderful gift of light which is given us. As this morning a mate of mine and I went out photographing all kinds of silly things and while doing it, wondering what we'll do with them. But the share joy of doing it makes up for it. As the feeling of sailing away to explore, well that's a bug that has been with me as long as I can remember. One just doesn't have to sail that far. Time ahead or rather season may be a kind of "dark" time. At least over here. Well all the best to you. I am doing small slideshows I may put out on utube in the near future, like street photography. Will it be all right if I use some of your music to it, with regards and reference to you of course?

Anyone can use my music, Ivar, if referenced. I'd be honoured if you used some. You can get most of it here: https://soundcloud.com/robmackillop/sets - just ask me what you want, and I will send you the mp3 file.

I went to the Scottish borders today. We have a new train service from Edinburgh to Tweedbank, a small village near the historic village of Melrose, where the heart of Robert The Bruce is buried. The train journey is through beautiful countryside. I walked from Tweedbank to Melrose, about 40 minutes or so, and back, and I went through two 36-shot rolls of Kodak 400TX. I'll have to send them away to get developed, but I don't mind waiting. It's nice to forget about them, then have them turn up unexpected one day. So, all I needed was a change of scenery. In another week I'll be heading off to Oxford...

Well that is nice to hear / see as a matter of fact and I'll anxiously await your images to pop up here. Nice story Rob and a change of scenery it shall be in Oxford too I believe, at least a little. All the best to you and yours. I do not know when I shall try my hand at Utube and street photography, but I am grateful for your offer Rob.
I was out again last saturday and sunday, saturday with a photo friend and yesterday with my mistress and my wife. Here are a few of the results.

I was actually wondering if anyone would comment on the flare. To me it is as if a devine light is shed upon him as he seems very small in the image as we human beings are in nature! So thank you both for your comments!
