Magnificent back alley photography. Like them all and the tonal quality especially in the first is faultless on my screen. Reminds me of a wet print I have on the wall in that regard.
Thanks, Julian. I like the first also, not so sure about the other two. I'd been using the DP Zero and DP3 cameras more often, but am beginning to really appreciate the qualities of the DP2.
The first two work very well from me, Rob and I like the toning and tones. I like the composition and content of the last but it loses a touch on sharpness for me. My eye keeps being drawn to that light brickwork.
Really like that first one. The last one intrigues me, mainly because of the large air duct near the center of the image. It looks like it may have inspired some science fiction monster.
That's a good point, Martin. Maybe they don't blow steam out, maybe they suck things in! The angle of that pipe, the light aimed just below the inlet. It's all coming together now. Rob, you were lucky to get out of there alive!!
