I like the shots of the new, Dave, but I could see myself using the old part more. Just love old books in oak shelving, with no signs to help you find anything! Looks quiet too, with no kids running around. Yes, I'm old-fashioned, and proud of it!

The old library looks a beautiful place to spend some time in. The new library looks really interesting but I doubt it would not have that library ambience of the old one. I'll show these to my wife later as she is a recently retired librarian. Down here in the south east and London the Tories are closing libraries to beat the band, making staff redundant and treating the staff that remain like ----.
But it's wonderful that Liverpool has invested in it's libraries and it's people.
