Loch Ard, Trossachs

It was Ishbel's birthday this weekend, we had a one night stay booked at a Hotel close to Aberfoyle which is part of the Trossachs, Scotland.
Was early afternoon and the weather was turning out bad/grey/dull/boring, about twenty minutes before we arrived at the Hotel I spotted beautiful Loch Ard in all it's mystical glory.
No time to set-up the tripod and Lee filter system as the rain was coming down, so I hand held this shot, bumped up the iso as the light was poorly and bracketed shots as I always do.

Nicely done, Peter. I like the infinity fence; it adds a human detail to the loch-scape and I find that very appealing in this image. Also, the monochrome treatment is perfect for this shot, I think.

Really superb shot, Peter. Wish I'd taken it! I love the squiggly line in the foreground, with the two stones just peering out above the water line. Damned near perfection! Actually, I'll go all the way: perfection!

Lovely shot!

I;d have cloned out the squiggly line but left the rocks :)
