Gorgeous Davie. Love the way your eye flows into the scene behind. I'd be tempted to crop a touch off the bottom to lose the light detail on the lower right.

i can see where you're coming from there :D

Some people are just crop-happy Davie!;) (Pete::p)

The cloud straight away center echoes in obverse the shape of the valley beneath and finds a lovely and elegant crown in that slim branch on the right. I find that to be a delightful detail. Lovely overall.

thanks Dave

thank you Brian, glad you like it :)

Yes there would but it would start with members apologies for those who didn't come and then it would pretty much end there too.

This is a beautiful photograph Davie. I find your landscapes hold my attention where so many that you see on the web and in books etc have a huge impact and then nothing to keep you looking at them.

that is an incredibly kind thing to say Paul, thank you so much

good shot, We could do a lone tree in the wilderness but I'll have to do lone burnt out cars here in SE London. I wish I could find a tree like this. I have been looking for years

Thank you Vic, i'm always on the lookout for lone trees and have a few that I plan on using, I just need to work out how to present them

I'd like to have a chance. Having said that I would have to get of my arse and go and take some pictures!

You have really captured the feel, the atmosphere, and the textures. I can sense the weather, the smells. I reckon the perspective makes it. You have a great eye.

I hope you print - this would make a nice one.

If you have time, maybe play with a B&W version. A totally different feel for sure, but it might be interesting.

Hmmm B&W could be interesting, I'll have a look :)
