Thank you, Tom. Much appreciated!I like how the locomotive is housed between the two diagonal shapes of the train station. The bulk of the building behind seems to be keeping an eye on whats going on. The four main elements sit nicely against the blue sky. A very unusual composition but it works brilliantly.
Thanks Julian. Much appreciated.Well seen Brian and the shapes that have been produced make for a unique and strong image. The architecture of the building does look older, cannot quite think of the era, but certainly someone looking back rather than forward. It is ok though.
Thanks, Nick. Much appreciated.Angles are great very art deco looking image Brian. Like the loco letters.
Thank you, Ivar. I was quite surprised to learn the building was less than 20 years old. However, in looking at images of it on the web it looks much more modern than what this detail suggests. Thanks again, Ivar.I too take a liking to the lines here and how you placed the locomotiv, very well done. Now the building has a mature look of an older era, in a fairly new nation.
No need, Beth. Olvera Street is just across the road from Union Station. I can get all the huarachi sandals and sombreros I'll ever need there. Thanks for the comments, Beth. Appreciated!heading to tijuana? wonderfully composed, there are some great lines and shapes in this image.
Many thanks, Pete. (The "Momentous Series..."?)Brilliant geometry and framing Brian. Another in the momentous series I think.
