Thank you Rob, such a kind comment, are you suggesting that one gets a bit disillusioned with photography and in life general. Then takes a stroll without any intent of grabbing a photo, without seeing anything inspiring or thoughts that may help to have even a wee bit of ambition to do so. Must do it more oftenLove it, love it, love it! One of the best I've seen in this forum. Perfect in every conceivable way.
Thank you Tom.An effective experiment that works well Julian. Nice ghostly effect.
Superb Julian. Love the smudged tones.
Have a look at these. I immediately thought of you.

Thanks Pete. Yes fully agree, I prefer my earlier shots of the harbour you mention . yesterday none came close to those, which is one of the reasons for the convert to B+W. There is for me something here, but have not felt as if anything is up to posting of late, so only really posted this because it has been a while.Superb Julian. Love the smudged tones.

I agree, there are too many and he should have been more selective. Interesting though. I prefer your shots of the harbour etc more though Julian.
I've been thinking about this sort of thing recently ... Im not sure I agree that there are too many.
If this was an Artist in a different media, painting fro example, one where style seems to be somewhat less fluid would you still think there too many images there?
Ok, there are other pages of images of a slightly different style of photos which does sort of negate my point a bit... but surely the impact of a single image isn't reduced by its surrounding images, but more by the patience or attention span of the viewer?
In an art gallery, surrounded by many images, it is still possible to walk around, digest images, and ultimately pick a stand out/favourite from the bunch?
I'm not really sure of my point, just rambling stream of consciousness, just think it an interesting subject ...
Incidentally, I also really like your photo @Julian de'Courcy , but feel the title does it little justice ... something a little more abstract, would leave the viewer a little bit more room for imagination I think
