It was rather quite this morning at work...

Thanks Rob. I really want to explore this section of my work building more. There are a lot of potentially great shots that could come from this area.

I like this Aaron. I'm partial to industrial stuff anyway for some reason and the B&W treatment is perfect for the industrial look. That floor sure is clean! What kind of industry does this factory setting serve?

Hey Brian, thank you! I work for CenturyLink (Telecom Company) here in the Denver CO area. This building is our headquarters for the western region here in the US. It houses several data centers, a couple of labs and several R&D facilities for the company. The photo is of the main hall that connects all the sections of the building together. I also favor industrial / architectural subjects as well and figure this will give me a good platform to try my hand at some interesting photos.

You're definitely on the right track, Aaron. Its a good shot!

Your image really does convey that lonely, empty atmosphere when the presence of workers, noise from machines and general activity is absent. You almost get the impression that the workers have just left minutes before you arrive. I experienced this at weekends when I might go in and finish off something and find the workshops and classroom totally silent and still.
The duct and stairs really catch the eye and I suspect that you shot this image adjacent to a similar staircase in the foreground.
Looking forward to more Aaron.

I can add little more to what has already been said. I too love industrial buildings, especially when there is no one around. Love the tones and angles as well. However, I might be tempted to crop a tiny bit from the bottom, maybe just above that horizontal rail on the right.
