LR question.

Probably the first of many, but how do you open a folder to pick which pictures you want to play with?

Is there a way of just opening a file from your hard disk then picking a photograph like you do in most software programs or do you have to "Import" the whole file?

I've got loads of files on my computer full of pictures from different places or different birds and such, will I have to "Import" every single folder so I can try processing them in LR?.

When you are in the import dialogue you choose the folder the files are in, un-tick the all photos box at the top left then go through and tick the ones you want to import individually ...
Have I answered the question properly ... last time i tried to answer a lr query i got well confuddled

Click uncheck all then click the ones you want to import is the easy way
