Critique Welcomed Macro Bug

Starting to experiment with Macro shots.
Used my 50mm 1.4 with 68mm of extender tubes. Magnification of aprox x1.5

Super stuff Thiago. I like the second one especially. Nice (if that's the right word for the close-up of a fly!).

I assume you focus stacked on these to get the longer DOF? Wonderful detail and his head does look like it has been stitched up, maybe he escaped from an evil doctors lab. The first looks a little over sharpened but I like the effect it has caused.

Like Paul I'm wondering if these have been focus stacked to get that depth of field?
