Mclaren at NY500 Cafe North Yorkshire

OK so I've wasted ages of time experimenting with a 'graphic' style of presentation. I have a series of automotive images taken over a period of around five years at NY500 a cafe near to Pickering in the Ryedale area of Yorkshire.

Nice angles Shaun- brain would be persuading me to reduce the highlights on the top pic, yet seeing this it absolutely works conveying the fantasy of having a McLaren.

I rather love car shots, local meets should be gathering pace soon, you going to share more to get the appetite revved up for some photography 😎

Along similar lines, a Suzuki GT750 also at NY500 Cafe back around 2021.

Yes Wes, it must be a triple thing as way back beyond a time I care to think much about, I had a Kawasaki KH250 and a Kawasaki H2C 750 triple. The sound of those engines was akin to a fabulous piece of music.

Absolutely jealous- 2t triples remain elusive rides for me- similarly the 4 cyl 2t. I’ve enjoyed Aprilia RS , Cagivas, Yamaha TZRs and RDs, but only got to listen and smell the wonders of the triples. Lucky!

Wes, don't be even slightly jealous. The KH250 almost killed me putting me in hospital for five months of reconstruction. In fact, the reconstruction was still ongoing in 2019 when I had further surgery to correct issues from all those decades ago. The 750 triple was such a character. It hated dawdling around town because it would surge and cough at normal pace. Give it 4k and it was incredible. Do not ever try to take a sweeping bend at speed though. A lesson I learned.
