When she was wee Meg loved doing cartwheels. She became an expert: two handed cartwheels, one handed cartwheels, left (or right) handed-only cartwheels, fast cartwheels, slow cartwheels. My neighbor once asked me,..."Can she walk?"
I watched from the window one day as she went up the street to her freind's house. She never took a step--she cartwheeled all the way. (This feat had the added benefit of revealing the exact distance between my house and that other one: It was 23 cartwheels away! Who knew?)
