Minolta X-9 advice

Recently been given a mint condition (35mm film) Minolta X-9 with fitted Minolta 28-70mm f/3.5 zoom, anyone ever used/owned one? Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Think it requires a fresh camera battery and I'll put a roll of Agfa vista colour 200asa through it etc...
