Me too Rob! hic,...That horizon looks ferpectly straight me
That's what I thought, Paul. Thanks.Very nice and I thought it was just the natural curvature of the earth, all seems normal to me.
Tom, sometimes a photo speaks. Yet though a photo may speak, there is no guarantee I'll know what it is saying. This one spoke to me. But the best I could glean from its message was the plea "like me." Which I did,...but not knowing clearly why. You have helped translate for me. Thank you. Much appreciated. The human presence is great in this one and the body language of the nearest figure is great. The similarity in shape of the dark portion of the sky and the dry sand is striking and these two elements seem to frame the middle portion. The structure makes a strong statement; almost fortress like.
Great photograph Brian.
Thank you, Ivar. Appreciated!Less is more and the eyes of the beholders speak for themselves. Nicely done.
You can be forgivejn for thinking that, Beth. We had some rock and roll on Friday evening, measuring around 5.6, and a short, sharp jolt on Saturday afternoon. (Presumably an aftershock following on from Friday.) I heard today that we had experienced about 135 aftershocks since Friday night. (Most of them you don't feel, or if you do you may just assume them to be side effects of your third or fourth IPA.)i figured you took it during the earthquake, didn't know alcohol was involved. nice scene regardless of the foibles.
it was a slow news day friday so we heard about the earthquake. glad it was just the standard earthquake and nothing too crazy. You can be forgivejn for thinking that, Beth. Thanks, Julian. I hear a lot about Doctor Who. I've never seen an episode, though.Agree with all that is said. What a fantastic structure , it looks a bit like a Doctor Who creature about to walk away. Nice one Brian.
Oy,...what are you saying!?You can see a reflection of Brian! Where?
Nor me either but both my daughters were avid fans, so I knew when the telly was not mineThanks, Julian. I hear a lot about Doctor Who. I've never seen an episode, though.
First I have one martini, then I have tee martunis and then who knows...?When you can't remember whether you had a Martini or not is the time to start to worry! Great analysis by Tom. I also like the line that the people make and the way it works with the angle of the pier. Nice.
