More Gulls

I did similar shots with the Konica Hexar, but these are with the Fuji XS1. I prefer the Hexar shots, but these aren't too far away, plus the camera insisted on recording sunspots whenever I pointed anywhere near the sun - should have a had a filter. But I quite like these orbs...

Rob I like these gull images. Not certain on the moon to be honest, in this first pic? All very interesting though and love the idea.

Thanks, gents. The moon in the first is a sun flare in the lens. I'm in two minds about it - it's odd, but interesting, and balances the composition a bit, with the bushes on the high left.

Good observation, Pete, about the Japanese connection, which wasn't on my mind at the time, but I can see it now that you mention it. It's obviously a square crop, which I felt contained all the elements of the comp quite nicely.

It does and the birds themselves look like they have been position deliberately as part of the composition. So it's either your natural eye or that Dodkin is messing with your pictures!
