Not all in touch with that era and books. I do love rivers though, especially the upper parts, something extreme peaceful about them even in full flow after the rains.

Agreed. The river was very low yesterday. Every time I'm there it looks different. I think it was Heraclitus, the very ancient Greek philosopher, who said, "You can and you cannot step into the same river twice". Must have been a photographer.

I agree these need to be seen bigger and given an opportunity to breathe. This applies more to the first two than the last.
