Pete- It's an existential Methodist Church.

Beth- I'll try a comparison out. I'll shoot a RAW + Velvia JPEG. The in camera appears to be more like the VSCO Fuji Velvia 100 than the Fuji Velvia 50. But they also have the -, --, +, and ++ in VSCO. I'm actually not sure what all those minuses and pluses mean.
 
i believe it has to do with pushing and pulling the film. if you underexpose the film you overexpose the print to compensate. and i think that gives the print a different look than if you'd gotten the exposure correct in camera and in lab. but that's just my film-ignorant guess on things.
