Literally the next frame I shot on my Canon 5D Mk1 body I heard this horrible crunch sound from inside my camera, then found out the mirror and housing fell apart, hmmmm really not good......!
This afternoon I rang the Canon service department at Elstree (UK), they informed me this was/is a factory fault with Cano 5D Mk1 body.
So Canon will pick up the tab for my present broken 5D Mk1 mirror problem and even have it collected via 'UPS', all free of charge, wOw, impressed with their customer service. There is a 8-12 day turn around time, pretty good.
So no more photo's from me til late June etc.
