My camera equipment

Normally I am a firm believer that the equipment is not that important in creating the image, some of my best images were created with my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 300D with a cheap kit lens!

Having said that better equipment does help with a better "keep rate" and it also helps when conditions are not perfect.

Below is a list of my equipment, constantly changing so always out of date! Quite a few of the older models are in perfectly working order but retired from active "production". Quite a few older bodies and lenses have been donated to deserving youngsters over the years, the list below is what is still on the shelve.

Ha, you already have shared ... missed it ....
and what a set of kit ....
I used to have a fuji s5pro ... sold it ... now i am thinking of buying one again ... slow ... but what a camera!

A lot of the kit, including the long lenses and the 1D/D2-3X cameras are a legacy of the time I shot motor sport professionally, these days I seem to look for wider lenses and primes!

I agree, the S5 is a stunning camera, I first fell in love with the S2, produced some great images with it and have been loyal to Fuji since then!

i do wonder if one day they will make a full frame slr.... .....
im not sure there would be need for upgrade after that .... .... as long as they made it a little faster than its predecessors!

ill give you £10 for your nikon 200-400 ... since you say you dont use it much these days .. haha ;)

A full frame Fuji would be amazing! As long as they base it on something like a D3X body :)

That 200-400 is amazing, one of the sharpest zooms out, I am hoping Canon's 200-400 will be in the same class, their 70-200 f2.8 is. It is nice to shoot Canon and Nikon, when my shooting buddies have the old C vs N argument I just keep quiet..... :)

Foot in both camps, and a fair bit of Sigma kit as well - how do you find the Sigma stacks up against OEM lenses?

Sigma makes some great lenses, also a few not so great ones.....

I particularly love the 120-300 f2.8, it is as good as any Canon L! The 105/150 macro's are also great! So it the 12-24, it works well on a FF body.
