Good shots, Dave. Love The Big Easy. But, personally, I find London a very scary place. I'm not good with crowds, and London certainly has lots of those. I get quite anxious. Tall buildings too. It has an increasing number of them. I'd happily avoid the place for the rest of my life...but my daughter studies there, so I have to be brave...But it all looks more attractive through your photography, I must say.

Thank you Rob, much appreciated. I was very pleased with "The Big Easy", one of the best pics I have ever taken, in my humble opinion.

It is the strangest thing; I have a history of stress-related illness, spent 2 years up to my eyeballs on the "happy pills" just to keep me sane; but London, of all places, does not scare me. None of my family has ever lived in London and I have no maritime heritage, but I just love the river Thames. I have an affinity with it, it just speaks to me; no idea why, it just does.

Nice set Dave and the Big Easy is a fine image but for me the cream of the crop is the Canary Wharf Station. With the two gentleman preoccupied in their own thoughts framing the track like book ends and the delightful softness of the sunlight falling on the pillars and all of this capped of by that red roof structure it all makes for a super picture.

What an absolutely brilliant set, Dave. And Big Easy is particularly fine. I like the way you have used the shadow to keep the attention on the main elements of the composition. I also really like the way you have from the other shots, revealing a sunlit London to us. Nice.

Did you go to the Georgia O'Keefe exhibition?

Thank you folks, I appreciate the comments. Think I was lucky with my timing; Big Easy was taken around 4pm, Canary Wharf just before 5pm; late enough to get the low sun highlighting the roof, a few minutes before the evening rush started.

Yes, the main reason for my trip was to see the Georgia O'Keefe exhibition. Most interesting, really enjoyed that.

I am glad I got to see this series Dave and it's fine. We people are so different and see things differently, therefore London appears quite interesting seeing it through other people's eyes. I on the other hand like to see other places in UK before I go back to London city.
