Well i thought i would jump in with both feet and post my first image.
This was taken a little while ago now, was taken in a lounge with a set of studio lights.
Still on a learning curve, and always open to learning new techniques.
A nice tight crop there Craig and the eye contact works very well as does the lighting. How did you do the lighting? One behind I guess and one main light plus reflector? Or is there a third?
Hi Pete,
Thank you for your kind comments.
What i used was a light 45 degrees from the camera left and a reflector camera right.
The orginal was on a white blown out background but PS a new background in.
Craig
I thought I could see a very slight white edge ... Cheeky pp
What sort of re-touching do you do ... We had a chap from Russia not so long ago who dis us a tutorial, I find that sort of the fascinating ... Although rarely do any my self
The re-touching i normally do to portraits vary to be honest depending if its male, female, groups or children.
I tend not to retouch to much as i think it can look to fake and to perfect, which in my opinion is unnatural.
