new 28mm 1.4 lens

I bought this from Hamish's shop at 35mmc.com just yesterday, and it arrived today - Saturday. That's what I call good service! On sale at a great price too.

The light was not what I had hoped for, but I took a few test shots, as I've never had a 28mm lens before. It is made by 7Artisans, and I have their 50mm 1.1, and 75mm 1.25. both of which are superb quality for the price. This 28mm seems to be a match for them.

I chose quite busy, sometimes very busy scenes, at various apertures. Sharp enough without being too digitally sharp, I think we'll get along fine. It really feels like an expensive lens, yet cost me £385.

It will take me more than one shooting session to get my eye in for 28mm, wide but not very wide.
