I had a small clear out recently and recycled the proceeds on a near mint Canon 7 rangefinder. I couldn't run to the superb f1.2 standard the seller also had on offer so I am now awaiting the arrival of an Industar 26M. As a stop-gap and to see how well it worked I bought a Nkon F to M39 adapter that promised infinity focus. The lenses fit well and checks suggest manual focus will be accurate so I will be running some film through soon.
What prompted this post however is the attached image. I took a number of record shots of my cameras on 5x4, now no more - just too physical - but I think this shot is well on a par with the large format ones. It is taken on a rather dated iPhone 7, background removed and shadow added in Affinity Photo while the Ensign is with a Super Technika and 150 Symmar.
