I just noticed that the date of the article is - 24 June 2015. Being over two years, maybe this has already played itself out.

It's still ongoing and I think some of these issues have been addressed. There's a review / vote towards the end of this year but I understand that the final vote is still likely to be some time away.

If I am not mistaken folks, as I together with many thousands signed a petition spread all over Europe against this law, which I think was turned down in the parliament of Europe in 2016.
