New Exhibition

Thanks for coming along Rob :D Was an absolute pleasure meeting ya. I sold another after you left :D

Well done Davie, I only wish I was able to get up to Leith as your photo's of your beloved Land are stunning. An excellent and lucid report by Rob too.

We are off to Europe in the motorhome in May/June but your photo's and those of the Bards and lately Douglas, have helped us both to make the decision to travel up to Scotland in September/October.

So, if you see a silver van with two Rotties and a long suffering COS a trundlin' through the Glens, do give us a wave!

Thanks Guys :D Pat, give me a shout nearer the time and I'll come up for a day and show you round :D

Speaking to the owner on Friday i think it's a fairly unusual place for Edinburgh too, the art changes every month and people get good sales(even high end stuff) .... the music policy is also seemingly unique with a lot of jam sessions, folk music but predominantly Rock & Roll, 60's garage punk, R&B etc I've only Dj'd there once but am back again on May 16th to do a set entirely on 78 :D

At least you will never get lost with all those maps on your arms Davie.:D

Which reminds me of a wonderful night many moons ago at a Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem concert with my darling and sorely missed Nan who hailed from Emly, Co. Tipperary

"On her back she has tattooed a map of Ireland
And when she takes her bath on Saturday,
She rubs the Sunlight Soap around by Claddagh
Just to watch the suds go down by Galway Bay."

God Bless my Darling Nan!
