I think I will get one, rip off the Leica badge and stick on 'Lumix' or 'Sony' labels printed using my John Bull Printing Outfit No.6.

Not interest at all, need to pay for a bloody external viewfinder. if apsc system I will definitely go for fujifilm instead. I think M9 is the best camera produced by Leica

I think this one is made by Leica rather than panasonic ...
It's a apsc for a start, which panasonic don't use in their cameras.

I'll stick to Fuji and maybe ad a Pentax k50 to the arsenal instead of an xt1.

You are right. Apparently it is milled from a solid block of alloy in Deutschland Uber Alles but the lenses are assembled/made in Japan by who knows who?
Interesting to read that one worker in Wetzlar is responsible for hand polishing each body for 45 minutes.
I think I will stick to the Fuji's and the Marmite Merrill (for now).
