New shots using a 85mm f/1.4

Bought a Samyang 85mm f/1.4 manual lens recently and not used it much to be honest. Today I attached it to my Canon EF 12mm (MkII) extension tube and shot a couple of floral images. I love the way shooting with this lens (as like it's wider 35mm brother) it produces beautiful soft painterly effect/style images;

Not so painterly that there isn't some delicate detail in there. Really lovely images Peter

Your shots of flowers almost get more interesting by the day ...
These I really like, they have such a nice feel to them!
the second one is especially interesting I think ... I think you may have hit on something with this lens/tube combo!

I don't like the rose .
The bokeh on 2nd one runs your eyes to and thru the flower center - great effect
