Because I'm such a nice and generous person, I thought I would waste £12 worth of film and show you all what is inside a New55 sleeve! Oh OK then, the sleeve didn't catch on the tab in the holder and pulled out and could not be put back outside of a darkroom (as I discovered when I tried).
This shows the components of this instant film. At the top you see the sleeve / dark slide and on the left the receiver sheet that will get the positive image during processing. Below is the negative itself plus, in the pouch to the right, the developer gel. The clip that engages with the tab inside the 545 holder and allows the sleeve to be withdrawn leaving the negative ready to be exposed can be seen on the left. The tab on the right allows you to pull the layers apart once development is complete and the positive / negative have been removed from the sleeve.
