I've been reading about the new Nikon 1 V1 all day.

Is it really worth £799.99? If you had that much money spear would you buy one? And if not what would you spend your spear £799.99 on (photography equipment of course) ?

Your close to a Fuji x100 at that money that's what I would (did - the silver camera I had with me last time we were out) buy

There are reasons to go for the Nikon over the Fuji, especially as you already have a d80 ... More in my article ...

If there is anyone i know i could trust with one of my cameras it would be you Luke ... ive seen how you treat your girlfriend erm .. I mean Nikon FM ... I just worry about how Sarah feels ... i know Hannah gets annoyed when miss D3 is hogging her side of the bed

On a slightly more serious note... I'll tempted by a used J1 when the price comes down for the very reason i mention in the article ... i quite like the idea of mounting my 70-200 2.8 to it ...10mp 540mm f2.8 and up to 60fps sounds like quite a lot of fun!
It actually rates well up there with its bigger sensored competitors according to DxO DxOMark - Nikon 1 V1not that i understand most of the stuff on that site

Cheers mate. Hahaha, they don't know about each other yet. Like to keep them seperate

Back to the camera. It is defentlay a camera I want to have a play with. I wouldn't spend £800 on one though. Loads more stuff I would spend my money on.

Like you say. It may be one to get once they've been out for a while and have come down in price.
