Thanks. No, these are cameras that are no longer used or were bought as collectors pieces (i.e. the special edition rangefinders). The Apollo (top shelf) was bought because it was just so gorgeous. The F2 and F3 have been retired from duty and the F6 is semi-retired. Some of the Fs were bought as they were interesting and the F4 and F5 were bought to complete the set. Most have featured on here at some point.
Here's a shelf-by-shelf breakdown of the F cabinet.
Top shelf: Nikon F Apollo with Nikkor 55mm f1:1.2, waist-level finders, cable release and eyepiece dioptre.
Second shelf: A trio of Fs with various Nikkor 50mm f1:1.4 lenses.
First shelf: From right to left, F2 with motor-drive and Nikkor 35mm f1:1.4, F2 with an aperture control attachment, F3 HP with a motor-drive and Nikkor 85mm f1:1.4 plus some literature and a pair of Nikon F to standard hot-shoe converters.
Bottom shelf: From right to left, a F4, a F5 (50th anniversary edition) and a F6.
Various original boxes and leather cases are in the cabinet.
I want that collection, my favourite workhorse was the F4s, wonderful camera, the metering was superb, and the build quality was epic. A very nice collection Pete.
