Old iPhone.

My son bought an iPhone 3G when they were first released and used it for a couple of years. When he lost his job he cancelled the insurance to save a bit of money and just typical he lost the iPhone. He then cancelled his contract and bought a cheap pay as you go phone just to keep in touch with friends.

Anyway last year he sold his car and when I was clearing everything we wanted out of it I found his iPhone tightly jammed between the drivers seat and the centre console.

Is it possible to get it unlocked so I can put my Vodaphone sim card from my cheap work phone in and use the iPhone instead.

As I know absolutely nothing about these things I thought I'd ask you clever people.

yes it certainly can without any problem at all, cost about a tenner
