Ok, here's the start of our photo experience from our recent Croatia holiday. From 24th Sept to 5th Oct, we stayed about eight miles from Dubrovnik in a hotel at a place called Mlini on the coast.
I lost three days towards the end as I got a serious stomach bug (24hrs in bed), yuk.
By luck we seen Bryan Ferry and his Orchestra advertised as a free outdoor concert in the Old Town, Dubrovnik (a local Hotel was celebrating 100yrs so invited Bryan Ferry to entertain the local people, nice touch)!
Although the concert was delayed by 80 minutes due to an outrageous thunder storm, we've never experienced rain/lightening/thunder like it........ever! But Mr.Ferry was sublime, never seen him before live, always (and still do) love and adore the early Roxy Music years from around the 1972 era, they sung and played for a good 90 minutes, immense talent. He's an old crooner but excellent to watch live. Place was packed and the mad weather seem not to put people off too much.
