Fine tile work, though the place has seen better days. The graffiti, the trash, the irregular flooring and the boarded windows suggest a city in decline. Is it so, Pete? Interesting image.

Thanks Brian. Well it was, but it is slowly coming back to life it seems. There are a lot of students living in Neustadt at the moment but I guess it will become trendy at some point as happened in Dresden Neustadt and Mitte in Berlin.

A definite sense of heading somewhere. I like all the arches, large and not so large. And I do like old tile work. I do get the sense, though, of the photographer not being part of the flow...
