On the Broads again.

A few pics from our recent jaunt on the Broads. I'm still working my way through the scans from this particular roll of Kentmere 400. Taken on Canon EOS 500 with (most likely) either 40mm pancake or 70-300mm. There's something special about watching these beautiful yachts slowly, gracefully traversing the waters (even though I've never sailed myself) as we noisily plod along in our old rental motor cruiser.

Coot Club and The Big Six are set in and around Horning on the Bure, but the books describe travelling all around the Broads (in the 20s or 30s).

@Keith Drysdale we passed Horning this year, but there was nowhere to moor. Am I right in thinking one of the recent films based on the books was actually shot on Lake Windermere or Ullswater up in the Lake District?

Exactly Most of the other books are set in the Lake District but not all...

I think they shot on a few different lakes, including Windermere and Coniston Water, as did the earlier and better film with Ronald Fraser playing Captain Flint
