A couple of guys I work with play Cricket and I've thought about going along to take some shots but I don't know if my 400mm will be big and my 90mm too small (I don't have anything in between).
What size lens did you use for these?

Glen,

I hadn't intended to be photographing anything, I was at a rather mind numbing 50th anniversary thing being held at the cricket club.......... I wandered outside and just took a few of the lads playing footbal, with my compact "snapper" that I keep on my belt..... Ricoh CX2 with a 28-300mm (35mm equivalent) lens ........

So I'd have thought a 400mm lens would be more than adequate ................
