I was reminded that I had not yet done any work on my images from last year's visit. Unfortunately we timed the visit poorly and hit Oxford on graduation day and parents day. The town was mobbed.

I like the last one more than the others and have you been working a bit on the HDR John?

No HDR processing, what you are seeing is the effect of using a polarizing filter to cut the daytime glare. It also darkens the sky and punches up the colors a bit.

The sky does look a bit odd in the first to my eye. The last is lovely and timeless though.

That is another fine set John, the last one is great! As a fan of dramatic skies, I guess I need to get myself a polarizing filter! (Shall add one to my next order from Amazon.)
