I like them a lot but they are a bit chunky! especially if you have the motor drive attached! Nor could they in any way be considered stealth cameras, a pair of ear defenders would not be amiss!
Lol! Yes, something of a seismic event. I don't have the motor drive but even just with the speed grip and plain prism it is, as you say, chunky. Still, the end results are worth it. From what I read, though, other mf cameras, such as the old Pentacon Six and the like, make a far worse clatter.
Last time I recall seeing an active one was about 5 or 6 years ago at the Orange County Fair. I imagine there are a few still around in such environments.
