Bainbridge Island is about 30 minutes by ferry from Seattle. We were visiting out younger daughter who is at college in Seattle and we all went over to Bainbridge Island last Saturday.

Polaroid 40 Land Camera and Fuji FP100C film.

Oh, I'd love a land camera. I had the opportunity to buy one in a charity shop here, but thought you couldn't get film for it. Apparently you can.

This is beautiful, Brian. I love the bridge reflection, but also the overall tone and composition. More, please.

Thanks a lot, Rob. Yes Fuji makes film for the old land cameras. Color only I'm afraid. (They used to make B&W--2 different emulsions--as well as a larger format film but have discontinued all but the FP100C color pack film.) I'm guessing that Fuji will discontinue the color stuff one of these days since they do not seem to be sentimental about maintaining emulsions that are not profitable and I suppose their profits on the color film may be marginal at best. However, old Land Cameras are often cheap enough that it would be worth getting one to play with. Over here in the USA I can currently get the color pack film for about $10 per pack. That comes out to $1 per image. Not as cheap as Instax but not as dear as Impossible film. (But the Impossible film--in particular the B&W--can be stunningly beautiful. I'll post one in a wee while.) If you get an old Land Camera you'll likely have to change the battery to modern ones. Easy enough to do and there are plenty of instructions on line. Thanks again, Rob!

Gorgeous! And I really like the composition too. I have a back for my Mamiya Press and intend to buy some film soon. It costs about the same in the UK.
Thanks Pete. I'm surprised the film costs about the same in UK. Looking forward to seeing your pictures!
