Preston Bus Station

It's all about your chosen point of view, Chris, and this seems a pretty good one. I've just done a number of shots of the Barbican in London, a Brutalist classic, so had to put some thought into this. I like what you've done with it.

Thanks Rob.
It's tricky to find any good spot there just now, as it is undergoing a big refurbishment. So there are various bits of miscellaneous construction rammel scattered about, like concrete silos, hanging cables and barriers and they're all over the site. Fortuitous, perhaps, as the angle and viewpoint I found is one I have never seen portrayed before.

That is a good one, great composition. I do like the angle, shows the curves it is famous for very well.
So, it is finally being refurbished now after Grade II listing scuppered the council's plan to demolish it!

Sorry, Dave, I missed your post - just spotted it. There was an international competition for architects to design a new setting for it. I think there was a funding problem when austerity properly got a grip, so there has been a redesign of the design. It's nearly done now and those curved tiers are really looking much more crisp and brighter than they were previously.
