PS Effect Test to get something similar to NIK Efex

This is more of a post about the PP that a portrait but didnt know where to stick it. I've been playing around to see if I could get a similar effect to some of the NIK Efex effects I've seen. Do people think this is close to the metallic toned effect.

That's a really nice portrait in its own right Paul, I think, and the processing you have used complements it very well. I'm not sure which simulation you had in mind (there are hundreds of combinations) but for me it looks like a conversion with increased structure and a coffee stain applied (not so much sepia as all of the tones are affected). I like it a lot.

Cheers Pete, I was looking to get the high detail effect that has a slight metallic look to it. I'm sure I saw similar on an image processed with Silver FX. I did download the trial but a swap around with the way I use accounts on the PC expired the trial before I even really used it! I cant imagine NIK would believe me if I asked for some way of extended it.
