Remi Ochlik Photo Journalist Killed in Syria

Marie Colvin and what seemed to being reported as "a photographer" on the news last night died in Syria yesterday. The photographer was Remi Ochlik. I have to admit to not being particularly well informed about his work, but I have seen the some of the 2006 Kissy Hospital photos before... they are very good indeed

Another great loss. Much like Capa so many years before. The consequence of true commitment to showing what i going on in the world. Hopefully their 'sacrifice' will not be in vain.
