It is a clump of seaweed.

Looks like a good start to the day. The horizon looks a bit off (it needs a slight rotation anti-clockwise / counter-clockwise) -- it may be an optical illusion (or just my eyes).

I think you are right John. There is not much in it and the waves give a slightly distorted perspective. I will have a look and probably update.
