Delavine Bridge, Corgarff - 1753.

The three bridges over Tornahaish, Delavine and Allt Damh burns were built by Major William Caulfield after the defeat of the Jacobite rebellion at Culloden in 1746.

The roads on which the bridges were part was an extension of the Military Road network created by Field Marshall George Wade.

This is a view of Delavine Bridge, looking back along the old road which runs over the Lecht to Tomintoul and Speyside...

Superb, Dougie. Almost looks like the bridge is an animal of sorts, and it definitely belongs in its environment. Perfect point of view too.

Very good finding a standpoint / viewpoint that really makes this as said previously here, blend in with the landscape. Cleverly done.
