That seagull for some reason wasn't scared of people, and I was able to get right in its face at X100's minimum focus distance!

Gulzilla, ROOAAARRR! Some gulls learn that a bit of boldness pays off as often they get fed by anyone with food who they approach. They can be quite intelligent at times. I was at a beach once when I saw a gull land with a ketchup sachet. It put it down and then flew off. A few seconds later it came back with a chip and no lie, it dipped the chip in the source and ate it!
