Brilliantly spotted, Rob. And I like the way the clear and sharp rectangle contrasts with the softer, surrounding stone. The ordnance mark is a nice detail too.

Telephone cabinet in road?

I wondered about the T. There is a telephone cabinet, as you call it, just in front, on the road, so I don't see why the T is necessary.

A room with a view reminds me of what a landlord offered us in Italy once. Actually upstairs, but all the same, a room with a view. A view to the back with a lot of rubbish bins. This on the other hand is far from rubbish Rob.
