Yes, I don't like it when water looks like milk.
I really like the lens, and think it incredible value for the price. It get's very soft at f/1.1, but stopped down to 2 or 2.4 it is nicely sharp. It's a lens with character, Brian, which I like.
Edit: I was talking about the 50mm version. This image was taken with the 75mm, which is new to me. Still getting used to it, but it seems very good. Hamish reviewed it for his 35mmc site. He likes it a lot.

I agree, this is just right and the contrast with the static leaves / branches works perfectly.

Thanks. Those leaves were blowing in the slight breeze, and I was caught between using a fast shutter speed to have them still, and using a slow shutter speed to soften the water a bit, not enough to lose the energy. I think I got it right. It's f13 and 1/15, 320 iso.

That is one of the things I love about Leica RFs - the ability to use such slow shutter speeds hand held.

With a bit of practice (and luck) 1/4s is doable even.
