My eldest chilling out while Dad wanders about with a camera.

Fuji GW690 - Fomapan 100 - Home developed this morning.

I must get me a GW690! What a fine photo. I've sold my digitals, Dave, and have gone over to the light side, just using film. And it's for exactly the reason we see here - such a beautiful shot!

Ta - I still use th D800 for work and X-T1 fo work and most of my own shooting. Loving the film too though. GW690 as you've seen but also doing quite a bit of 6x6 with a Yashica Mat 124G. Got an RB67 too with a few lenses but not really getting on with it so it may have to go. Still got too many 35mm jobbies too :)

Nice shot. I must start shooting 120 in my 6x9 Ensign 820, I use a Yashicamat 124 quite regularly when I'm in Turkey here in the UK it's a Rolleiflex Automat or a 3.5E.

Fomapan 100 & 200 are nice films once you tame the contrast I've used a lot in the past 8 years.

Lovely image. I see there seems to be a trend towards analog again and I understand the feelings one has about it, but never the less, one has to digitalise film also if you are to use this kind of tool and forum. So I cannot see the huge difference as it is the outcome that counts. No offence to anyone though.

That's where we differ Ivar. I'm equally as interested in enjoying the process as I am in the results. I take results driven photos 9-5, 5 days a week, to pay the mortgage. Outside of that I love to take photos but try my best to make it feel different from the day job. Film does that for me.

No offence taken :)

I do not think we differ that much Dave, the process in picture taking is also a part of mine, but not the analog anymore. I used to do that for a living too. Have a good evening and all the best.

Choice of format is making a big difference with this image, a 6x9 camera with a 100mm f3.5 lens has quite a different feel/look at wider apertures than the equivalent FL lens on a full frame or smaller sensor Digital camera.

Gorgeous Dave, glad I came across this one. I've seen a few images from this camera recently and have been bowled over by its output , as I am by this image
