All good shots but the first , to me, is a jaw dropper !
Absolutely marvelous edit.
Did I mention that I like the first one a lot ?

Interesting shots, Rob. I also prefer the first one. I'd like to see more, as I'm not sure I really understand the building yet.

I remember when they built this.
It caused such an uproar despite what was meant achieved. Lol.
Great set Rob, a lot of things to look at in one piccie alone, I like that. :)

Thanks, guys.

Darren B, it is a difficult building to get a grip on. It's meant to have something to do with upturned boats, though I can't see that, or indeed why. Most people hate the architecture. All those aggressive poles look like they have prepared for a siege!

I was thinking bamboo fortress, too. One technique that I use for shooting architecture is to give the person a viewpoint that they can relate to - in other words, show the footpath, the door, the access, and lead the eye through the photo that way. Architecture photos are most successful when the person can imagine themselves walking through it.

Understood, Darren. But here I wanted to give a sense of how difficult it is to get into the building, how impenetrable it seems, how alienating it makes the common man or woman. Political stuff!
