It was damned hard to get close to them and anyway I moved they detected me. Even as small as I am.

You did pretty good Ivar. Until eagles get used to humans there is no chance to get close unless they are focused on prey. They can see a rabbit from 2 miles a way. I assume you are bigger than a bunny?
