Seaside sights

the first one is very peaceful. interesting bokeh in the 3rd one, is that a mirror lens?
Thanks Beth, I'm pleased the bokeh made you think a mirror lens (I like using my 500mm Tamron regularly), however it was shot with a Takumar 50mm f.1.4 and polarizer, wide open.

I suspect it was the busy background that created that effect.

makes sense. there's a dark spot in each little blur that made me wonder. it works well for that image, it reminds me of stained glass.

I had a cheap Panasonic mirror lens (300 mm, I think) a while back, and I appreciate the second image, but not just for the unnatural bokeh, rather for the cinematic feel (something like a 1970s movie with flower children, hippies, if you know what I mean). I really like it.
